The Last of Us Creative Team on How They Crafted Season 2’s Most Crucial Episodes
At IGN Live, The Last of Us Co-Creator and Executive Producer Craig Mazin was joined by several of the show’s core creative team – including Ksenia Sereda (Cinematographer), Ann Foley (Costume Designer), Don Macaulay (Production Designer), Alex Wang (VFX Supervisor), Timothy Good (Editor), and David Fleming (Co-Composer) – to discuss the tremendous amount of work that went into the just-completed second season of the HBO series.
The team discussed their favorite episodes, that big death, bringing the flashback in episode six to life, how important editing, costumes, visual effects, and music are, and so much more.
Squid Game's Battle of Beliefs: Stars and Director on Gi-Hun and In-ho Squaring Off in Season 3
The third and final season of Squid Game is almost here, and we were not only given a sneak peek at the first episode, but we also chatted with creator/director/writer Hwang Dong-hyuk and actors Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Park Sung-hoon, and Kang Ae-sim to find out what we can expect from the last episodes of the series.

The Outer Worlds 2 Looks to Expand the Gunplay and Combat While Sticking to Its RPG Roots
Marcus Morgan, Obsidian's VP of Operations, came by IGN Live to discuss The Outer Worlds 2 in the lead up to its much-anticipated October 29 release date, including its Flaws system, a new ice planet that has become one of his favorites, a goo pistol, and more.
Morgan also talked up the team's focus on evolving gunplay and combat. Additionally, he took the time to reassure those who may have never played the original that The Outer Worlds 2 is a great place to jump in.
Ironheart: Exclusive First Clip from the New Marvel TV Series
MCU fans can check out the very first clip from Ironheart that we debuted today at IGN Live. The footage shows young genius Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) meeting with the enigmatic Parker Robbins aka "The Hood" (Anthony Ramos), who offers Riri a Faustian bargain in her quest to create an "iconic" iron suit.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Exclusive Trailer
IGN exclusively debuted the new trailer for the upcoming third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds at IGN Live today.
“In season three, when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn,” according to the official synopsis.
“But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve. An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, season three takes characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.”
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 2025 to Feature the First-Ever Fallout Haunted House
IGN can exclusively reveal that Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in both Orlando and Hollywood will be getting a new haunted house based on Prime Video’s Fallout series and that HHN’s Five Night’s at Freddy’s experience will be based on the movie, the latter of which will be brought to life with the help of the legendary Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, who also did the animatronics for the film.

Screamer Gameplay Trailer Shows Off the Reimagining of the Racer Set in an Anime-Inspired Universe
Screamer, Milestone's reimagining of the MS-DOS game from 1995, received a brand-new gameplay trailer that shows off the high-speed action of the racing game set in an anime-inspired universe.
"Experience the thrill of high-octane racing as you delve into the depths of this anime-inspired universe in Screamer," the official description reads. "Longing, ambition, vengeance. Stand up for what you believe in and prove it's worth fighting for: this is the call every Screamer must answer to unravel the dark truth behind the most brutal racing showdown ever and its mysterious master."
Screamer will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2026.
Invincible VS Creators on Killer Instinct Influences, Authenticity, Why Its a 3v3 Tag Fighter, and More
One of the big reveals from the Xbox Showcase was that Invincible VS is on its way, and we were able to chat with members of Skybounds's Quarter Up at IGN Live to learn why this 3v3 fighting game is giving Robert Kirkman's superhero epic the tag fighter it deserves, complete with Killer Instinct influences.
M3GAN 2.0 Director on (Possibly) Redeeming the Character and the Portal Inspiration in Her Voice
M3GAN 2.0 writer and director Gerard Johnstone talked with us about the upcoming sequel to the 2023 hit and how it evolves M3GAN, gives her a Terminator 2-inspired upgrade, and takes the franchise into a wild new territory. He also shared a new clip that shows M3GAN in a towel after a fight training session.
Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy Creators on Choosing the Right Characters for the Cards
Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy cards are set to arrive on June 13, and we had the chance to speak to Principal Designer Gavin Verhey and Executive Producer Zakeel Gordon about this much-anticipated collaboration, including how they handled the tough choice of picking the right characters for the cards.
The team wanted to incorporate at least something for all 16 of the mainline Final Fantasy games, so they split up the possible inclusions into three tiers - what Verhey described as the "gotta have: primary elements and most popular characters, followed by the second tier, which is where “cool side characters” came into play, while the third tier were the deep cuts, “like Guy speaking beaver. We wanted to get it all in there. Every game is represented from most iconic characters to deep cuts you can’t believe they put on a Magic card.”
