Scattered throughout Mario Kart World, you'll find orange colored Dash Food bags, which reward food items that not only provide speed boosts, but will also occasionally unlock brand-new costumes for your Characters.

This guide explains everything you need to know about food and provides a complete list of all food items found in Mario Kart World, including common locations where you can find them.

Yoshi's Dash Foods Explained

Dash Food bags are a unique, orange-colored pickup item typically found outside Yoshi-themed eateries and restaurants, both during races and while roaming the open world.

In most situations, Dash Food bags are themed around the region in which you're in, and can contain upwards of three different tiers of the same food--typically, the bigger the food platter, the larger the speed boost.

In addition to speed boosts, each unique food type will, depending on the character you're playing as, unlock a brand-new outfit for your character, which is sometimes themed around the food you're eating.

It's worth noting that there is one exception to this rule, as we've found that Yoshi's Snacks contains three unique food items — Soda, Chips, and Chocolate, and these can all unlock multiple outfits, which appear to be random.

However, since not all characters have the same amount of unlockable outfits, not all Food Bags will unlock the same type of outfit across characters, and some may only provide a speed boost. Creatures like Goombas, Cows, and Dolphins also cannot gain Outfits, and only get speed boosts from Food Bags.

In total, we've found 19 unique food types in Mario Kart World, which range from Burgers, Pizza, Fish and Chips, Curries, and Snacks.

Each region also features several restaurants and eateries that serve the same food. With numerous location options available, we've listed only the most convenient and quickest locations we've found for each food type.

Tire Donut Locations

• Known Locations: Choco Mountain, Peach Stadium, Dandelion Depths, Mario Circuit

One of the quickest ways to find Tire Donuts is to fast travel to Toadette, who can be found just south of Choco Mountain--if you're already playing as Toadette, switch characters, and she'll respawn back on the map in the same location.

Upon switching to Toadette, you'll find that she's currently leaving a Tire Donut restaurant.

Burger Locations

• Known Locations: Mario Bros. Circuit

One of the quickest ways to find Burgers is to fast travel to Mario Bros. Circuit. When arriving, you'll find a Burger eatery just to the left of the starting line, beneath the Ticketing booth.

Shish Kebab Locations

• Known Locations: Whistlestop Summit, Great ? Block Ruins, Wario's Galleon, Shy Guy Bazaar

One of the quickest ways to find Shish Kebabs is to fast travel to Whistlestop Summit. Upon arriving, turn around and follow the road as it leads right beneath the train tracks.

When exiting the underpass, you'll find a Shish Kebab restaurant along the left side of the road.

Moo Moo Dairy Delights Locations

Known Locations: Moo Moo Meadows

One of the quickest ways to find Moo Moo Diary Delights is to fast travel to Moo Moo Meadows. When arriving, cut across the grass just right of the starting line, and head straight past the barn.

On the other side of the barn, you'll find a Moo Moo Dairy Delights restaurant along the side of the road.

Royal Patisserie Dessert Locations

• Known Locations: Peach Stadium

One of the quickest ways to find Royal Patisseries Desserts is by fast-traveling to Peach Stadium. When arriving, continue straight along the track, and after passing over two speed boosts, you'll reach a large roundabout.

Here, you'll find four food trucks positioned evenly around the roundabout, which serve Ice Cream, Honey Pancakes, Royal Patisserie Desserts, and Tire Donuts.

The food truck serving Royal Patisserie Desserts can be found along the back left of the roundabout.

Yoshi's Snacks Locations

• Known Locations: Toad's Factory (Best Location) Whistlestop Summit, Mario Circuit

One of the quickest ways to find a Yoshi's Snack vendor that sells his entire Snack selection is to fast travel to Toad's Factory.

Upon arriving, continue forward over the starting line and then turn left. Continue following the road straight, and you'll find a Yoshi's Snacks restaurant to your right.

This particular Yoshi's Snacks vendor provides the following variety of Snacks:

• Brown Chocolate
• White Chocolate
• Pink Chocolate
• Red Chips
• Green Chips
• Blue Chips
• Red Soda
• Green Soda
• Pink Soda

Pokey's Pita Plate Locations

• Known Locations: Desert Hills, Shy Guy Bazaar

One of the quickest ways to find Pokey's Pita Plates is to fast travel to Desert Hills. Upon arriving, turn around and follow the road straight.

Not too long after, you'll find a food truck selling Pokey's Pita Plates along the right side of the road.

Prehistoric Roast Locations

• Known Locations: Dino Dino Jungle, Faraway Oasis

One of the quickest ways to find Prehistoric Roasts is to fast travel to Dino Dino Jungle. When arriving, follow the track past the starting line and then take the first turn right. Here, you'll find a Prehistoric Roast restaurant along the left side of the road.

Cinema Popcorn Locations

• Known Locations: Boo Cinema

One of the quickest ways to find Cinema Popcorn is to fast travel to Boo Cinema. When arriving, immediately look left of the starting line, and you'll find a food truck along the road selling Cinema Popcorn.

Pizza Locations

• Known Locations: Salty Salty Speedway

One of the quickest ways to find Pizza is to fast travel to Salty Salty Speedway. Upon arriving, follow the road right towards the red umbrella tables and large Mario Kart banner, then head straight across the bridge that's ahead.

At the end of the bridge, you'll find a small restaurant serving Pizza.

Fish and Chips Locations

• Known Locations: Koopa Troopa Beach, Salty Salty Speedway

One of the quickest ways to find Fish and Chips is to fast travel to Koopa Troopa Beach.

Upon arriving, continue forward a short distance and turn left up the small ramp that's before the finish line. Here, you'll find a small Food Truck selling Fish and Chips.

DK Barrel Bites Locations

• Known Locations: Faraway Oasis

One of the quickest ways to find DK Barrel Bites is to fast travel to Faraway Oasis. Upon arrival, proceed forward across the starting line and then cut straight across the flowing river.

On the other side, you'll find a DK Barrel Bites restaurant along the side of the road. If you look carefully, you can spot this restaurant from the starting line.

Ice Cream Locations

• Known Locations: Crown City, Peach Stadium, Sky-High Sundae

One of the quickest ways to find Ice Cream is to fast travel to Crown City and then immediately head straight down the busy road until you reach a set of lights.

Just to the right of these lights, you'll find an Ice Cream shop.

Monster Bread Locations

• Known Locations: DK Pass

One of the quickest ways to find Monster Bread is to fast travel to DK Pass. Upon arriving, continue forward and head through the tunnel seen below the Lodge Ski Slopes sign that's not too far in front of the starting line.

When exiting the tunnel, you'll find a small food truck along the right side of the road, selling Monster Bread.

Sushi Locations

• Known Locations: Cheep Cheep Falls

One of the quickest ways to find Sushi is to fast travel to Cheep Cheep Falls. When arriving, turn around and follow the track straight through the water, and then up a set of stairs.

Follow the long straight road all the way to the end, where you'll reach two moving obstacles.

When reaching the moving obstacles, follow the road as it leads left, and you'll soon come across a Sushi restaurant along the right side of the road.

Festival Foods (Candy Apple, Taiyaki, and Takoyaki) Locations

• Known Locations: Cheep Cheep Falls

One of the quickest ways to find Candy Apples, Taiyaki, and Takoyaki is to fast travel to Cheep Cheep Falls. When arriving, head to the top of the large staircase and turn either left or right.

Here, you'll find four eateries set up along the side, overlooking the staircase, serving Festival Food, which includes Candy Apples, Taiyaki, and Takoyaki. Here's where you can find each Festival Food:

• Green Eatery: Candy Apples
• White Eatery: Taiyaki
• Blue Eatery: Takoyaki

Lunch Pail Locations

• Known Locations: Mario Bros. Circuit, Mario Circuit, Airship Fortress

One of the quickest ways to find Lunch Pails is to fast travel to Mario Bros. Circuit. Upon arriving, immediately turn left and travel through the Fire Flower Gas Station. On the other side, you'll find a small food truck just opposite the mechanic garage that serves Lunch Pails.

It's worth noting that Lunch Pails will not reward a new outfit; instead, they will revert your character back to their default outfit.

Lava Curry Locations

• Known Locations: Bowser's Castle

One of the quickest ways to find Lava Curries is by fast-traveling to Bowser's Castle. Upon arriving, continue past the starting line, and as you're heading down the ramp, Boost Jump or Charge Jump onto either of the two chains that are seen along the side of the ramp, which are heading up to the floor above.

When rail riding up to the second floor, you'll find a Lava Curry restaurant built into the wall.

Honey Pancake Locations

• Known Locations: Acorn Heights, Peach Stadium

One of the quickest ways to find Royal Patisseries Desserts is by fast-traveling to Peach Stadium. When arriving, continue straight along the track, and after passing over two speed boosts, you'll reach a large roundabout.

Here, you'll find four food trucks positioned evenly around the roundabout, which serve Ice Cream, Honey Pancakes, Royal Patisserie Desserts, and Tire Donuts.
